7 Signs That You Are Ready For A Change

Change is terrifying AF. But what is even more terrifying AF is being stuck somewhere you do not belong. Do you feel like something is missing in your life?

Change can be anything – a new career, a new position, a new home or location, a new partner/relationship. All of those things work together to make up this crazy thing we call life, but when one is off balanced, our entire life is off balance. Here are 7 signs that you are ready to make a change somewhere in your life so that you can find that balance:

1. You feel like you are hardly surviving.

Wake up. Brush your teeth. Get dressed. Drive to work. Work. Drive back home. Make and eat dinner. Sleep. Repeat.

Does this sound familiar to you? Do you feel like you are just trying to just make it to the one thing you have to look forward to, be it a specific event or the weekend, and then find yourself back into this bullshit cycle afterwards until the next thing?

Life is meant to be LIVED not survived. Surviving is when you are just completing one day after the next; it is having your life on repeat. Living is enjoying every day of your life regardless of what is going on; it is looking forward to every second of it, not just a single event once in a while. If you feel like you are merely SURVIVING life, you are not living your life to the fullest and are ready for a change.

2. There is a constant FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

You see other people, friends, colleagues, strangers, social figures, etc. on Instagram or Facebook, or on TV, and think to yourself “damn they have the best life ever.” You live vicariously through them, through their posts, podcasts, and blogs, all while longing for a life like that for yourself.

Why can’t you also have the best life ever? If you are yearning for someone else’s life, it means you are not living and loving yours – it is time for a change. Shit, yearn for your OWN life!

3. It’s getting harder and harder to wake up in the morning.

Loss of motivation is the first symptom of Need-A-Life-Change syndrome. Maybe the only thing you look forward to in the morning is your daily cup of coffee.

You do the bare minimum to get through the day, only to go to sleep and wake up and then do it all over again. Nothing in your life sparks a fire within you – instead, it feels like your life is just a pile of wet leaves. You are too bored, too uninterested, and too spiritless.

Life shouldn’t be this hard and boring. In order to feel motivated to do things, you must actually LIKE what you are doing – scratch that – PASSIONATELY LOVE what you are doing. Change your life so that you are in that amorous state of mind.

4. You are daydreaming A LOT.

These aren’t just regular daydreams. This is daydreaming about what your life could be. You are imagining yourself being somewhere you are currently not.

Might be a new job, might be anything outside of your current job, might be a new location, new partner, new home. Anything new, anything that is NOT where you are in life now.

More often, maybe you are constantly thinking about your goals, dreams, and aspirations, but have not made any advancements into achieving them yet.

I gotta break it to you – thinking and daydreaming gets you ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE. Make that change now to make your day dreams a reality.

5. You are terrified about life – about change.

I know this sounds counterproductive, but fear (especially in this case) is sometimes a good thing. Physiologically, our body’s reaction to fear is the “fight or flight” reaction. So if you do feel this scared about life, then that means you are at that position to choose whether you will FIGHT or FLIGHT.

If you choose to fight, you will make the efforts to face your fears and overcome them. If you choose flight, then you will just run to safety and back to your comfort zone (which is your current situation). However, if you do run, the issue is still there. You will encounter the fear again and again and again until you stand up to it.

That fear of change is there for a reason, it did not show up at your door for no reason. You are experiencing fear because your divine purpose is to kick that fear in the ass. Instead of letting fear stop you, use that fear to drive your process of change.

6. There is a strong energetic pull towards a higher frequency.

The energy within ourselves co-exists with the energy of our surroundings. Therefore, if the energy in the environment we embody ourselves in is not where we belong, it will vibrate at a low frequency and in turn, will influence our personal energy to vibrate at low frequencies as well.

Our mind, body and soul naturally wants to be at a higher frequency. That’s why when we are below our desired threshold, we feel an energetic pull towards creating an environment that will help us ascend and rise up.

It is hard to describe in words how that energetic pull feels – but when you feel it, you feel it. This goes side by side with the previous points made in this article. So the daydreaming, lack of motivation, fear of change – these are all examples of the energetic pull.

7. You are reading this article right now.

Point blank. You clicked on this headline to read this, so somewhere in your mind, consciously or subconsciously, you were asking yourself, “Do I need a change?” AKA, energetic pull!
